The RIGEL fleet covers the complete range of relevant vessel sizes offering the right vessel for each customer and any order volume. The modern fleet of chemical/oil tankers (COTs) in the size range of 10,500 up to 37,850 dwt are designed according to international safety regulations and represent the latest state-of-the-art technology. The current vessels have been designed by RIGEL together with the renowned shipyards in Germany, Poland and China. Furthermore RIGEL has signed several newbuilding contracts with different Korean Shipbuilders. 18 additional units are going to be integrated into the fleet until end of 2010. Details like small draft, enclosed bridges, heated valves and eco-compliant waste management also make the fleet first choice. Furthermore a large part of the fleet meets the requirements of the especially high Finnish ice class. Due to high flexibility, efficiency and reliability the RIGEL fleet has established an excellent reputation with international charterers.
